Delete your Parauling account

Parauling is an app for learning vocabulary through play, for families, by Martrends Apps, S.L. This page explains how to delete the account, what is erased and what we keep.

How to delete it, from the app

1. Open Parauling (app.parauling.com or the app you have installed) and log in with the account’s email address and password.
2. Go to the adults’ area (the padlock on the child’s screen) and solve the multiplication.
3. Scroll down to The account and tap Delete account.
4. Enter the account’s password and confirm.

It is deleted at that moment. We cannot undo it: we do not keep any copy to go back to.

If you cannot get into the app

Write to support@parauling.com from the account’s email address and tell us you want to delete it. We check that you are who you say you are and delete it; it will take us 30 days at most, and usually the same day. If you do not write to us from the account’s address, we will ask you for another way of checking that it is yours.

What is erased

• The account: the email address, the password and all open sessions.
• All the profiles and everything they have learned: the progress, the card album, the ducklings and the answers.
• The settings of each profile and of each course.
• The subscription, if there is one: it is cancelled at that moment and is not charged again. If you took it out on the App Store, cancel it with Apple before deleting the account (in your Apple account settings): we cannot cancel it.

What we keep, and for how long

• The backups in which you still appear: they expire on their own after 30 days.
• The invoicing data of any purchases you have made: for the time required by tax and accounting rules.
• The messages you have sent us at support@parauling.com: for the time needed to deal with them and to be able to show that we did.
• The server logs: 14 days.

Deleting just one profile

If what you want is to erase the data of just one profile and keep the account: in the adults’ area, tap the profile, scroll down to Delete this profile, confirm it and enter the account’s password. The profile and everything it has learned (the progress, the album, the ducklings, the answers and the settings of its courses) are erased at that moment; the account and the other profiles stay as they are.

If what you want is to stop paying

There is no need to delete anything. In the adults’ area, under Manage or cancel your subscription (in the Google Play app, Manage it on Google Play; on the App Store, in your Apple account settings), you can cancel: the account stays on the Free plan and the profiles’ progress is kept in full.
